Rainy night, wet road. Car ran off side of road at 55 mph, hit sign post, down embankment rolled over into ditch. Car was totaled and daughter was seriously injured.... 4 broken vertebrae in lower back, 9 broken ribs, numerous pelvic fractures, lacerated spleen and kidney. Seems to me like the airbags could have prevented some or most of these injuries, if the airbags would have deployed. From the number of complaints I see - this appears to be a major problem with Nissan Sentras and other models as well.
