I own a 2011 Nissan Sentra SL. Pulled into a store, shut down vehicle. Came out of store, vehicle wont start. Seems Fuel pump is not kicking on. Of course my extended warranty i purchased expired 156 miles ago. Had towed to 2 different shops, first one couldnt figure it out. Seems the ECU has gone out due to corrosion on positive terminal. I called Nissan and they said via my VIN number, it wasnt under the recall. But looking at other complaints it still seems this problem is still occuring to later models. I feel that the recall needs to be expanded. As of right now I am out $1500. That terminal block on the positive battery terminal is a poor placement idea from Nissan. Batteries sweat and this causes way too much corrosion.
