Toiok car to Nissan Dealer, Charlottesville, VA, today (05/27/09). Service Manager told me that filter in Glove Compartment might have been chewed by a mice i.e. blower under dash board is wrapped by filter broken pieces. I saw Glove Compartment. I did not find a filter. Would someone who has experience in this field guide me what is the truth. Dealer is asking me $900 to fix this problem. Car is under warranty but dealer says this problem is not covered. I have extended warranty also. I do not know whether extended warranty would cover the repair. I shall appreciated if someone can let me know what to do.
