At about 130K miles, the car started having (every once in a while) a VERY HARD time shifting gears. I was convinced that sooner or later I would not be able to shift gears and get stuck somewhere. So I bought another used transmission and paid a mechanic to swipe transmissions. PROBLEM SOLVED. TOTAL COST $1000.
