fuel system problem
It is very annoying having to hold the handle on the gas nozzle. I have to run the level really slow and most of the time I need to fill the tank all the way and I do not know when it is actually full because if I start filling too fast the nozzle shuts off. The mechanic filled a whole in the gas cap area several weeks ago and now my check engine light still comes on every time I turn on the car. I have a warranty but this is not covered. Help....!!!!

My wife and I have the same exact year make and model. She developed this problem 1st, then of course I developed the problem with my car. What happens is you pump the first dollars' worth of gas...it splashes back at you...then you can pump your gas about 20 cents at a time extremely slowly while the pump keeps clicking like the tank is full. To put in about 11 gallons it takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Like filling a semi.

gas spills out out all over its a dangerous problem ,gas spilled all over my daughter 2x and this should be a recall ,dealer said known problem. and should cost about $250 to repair ,this is absurd I have had many cars and this is just bad,Nissan are sensor happy I also have a 2004 murano that the gas cap had to be pried open because the lock remained shut defective lock ,I did not have that fixed I just do not shut gas door , these are giving me a bad taste for nissan hope you can fix the problems before I go to other manufacturers Thank You Dave Chuba 203-631-8111 cell
