This issue happens almost every day. After the car sits idle at a stop light, the gas pedal does not want to move. The only way to get it to move is to tap it rather hard with your foot to get it to move hoping that it doesn't surge the car. I've been told that it could be the throttle body. I've cleaned out but nothing seems to help. The pedal will not stick if you keep driving and do quick stops. But if you are in a normal to long stop light or in heavy traffic, it occurs almost all of the time. Thankfully, I've decided to get rid of the car due to this and other reasons.
