2000 Nissan Sentra gxe air flow meter began failing at 52,500 miles causing the car to cut off during deceleration or at stops. Nissan does not cover this part after 36,000. The part alone reportedly costs over $700. Nissan's shoddy parts are a significant safety issue and should be replaced by the company as they should last for at least 100,000 miles.
