Engine fails at random to start (not battery problem) due to apparent malfunction of the "park" safety feature. Engine off with car fully in park. When key is turned engine & battery is fully charged, lights etc come on but not engine. Car does not respond to jumper cables. After random length of time/turn of keys/ car starts. Starts sometimes related to hard shaking of autotrans gear shift. Makes car highly unreliable. When occurs car can't be shifted to neutral and can't be moved (a real problem).
Vehicle has been in to the dealer for repair, and the dealer has not been able to locate the problem. Vehicle cuts off at various speeds. The brake warning light and the battery light comes on just before the car dies. Consumer states sometimes it would take 15 tries to restart after stalling.
