Driving back home from the grocery store one night I side swiped a curb. I felt the bump and just thought 'darn it' but after another maybe 100 yards of driving the front passenger tire went flat and the side airbags deployed. No metal damage and no paint damage but all interior damage due to the airbags so the headliner was replaced, airbag wiring harness, both side airbag curtains, both front seats -airbags inside, wheel, tire, alignment totaled to just over 14,000 dollars which insurance covered since the car's value was listed as 24,000. A simple flat tire should never deploy the airbags. I used to love this car but now I'm almost afraid to drive it.
