During the last week of may 2018 I felt water on my right foot. It happen again May 28, 2018, in May 30, 2018 I contacted the dealership Petro Nissan located in Hattiesburg, MS 39402. After waiting for about an hour I was told that the Rouge models have a leakage problem and that it was no fix. I went ballistic.. I was informed that Nissan knows about the issue and there was no fix. The I could not use the air intake because when precipitation occurs that they do not have an outlet for the water to run out through the engine instead it runs back into the car in the driver side inside cabin on your right foot over the accelerator pedal. Eventually this will cause future problems. I purchased this car August 2017 new with only 3 miles on the car I owe for the next five years. I am very upset about this issue because I was not informed and believe Nissan was hoping I never did.

The dealership stated its been going on I just never noticed if I used the air outside intake. I guess because it was winter months and I wore boots and tennis shoes where could not actual feeling the water drops on my right foot. I am devastated, I am upset, I contacedt the Nissan Consumer affairs and applied for a buy back. I just got of phone call with them-and they stated that a decision would be made about granting be a buy back, can you believe that, the car is 8 months old. I have added $3,000 of accessories to this vehicle. I had $1.295 of leather seats installed that Monday and Thursday I was told about the unfixable issue of the inside water leakage.

I had extra warranty on the car for 76,000 miles and gap issuance through the dealership. I am hurt because in 2014 I purchased a juke and paid it off in 3 years. I consider myself a loyal customer and I feel violated.

Nissan Consumer Affairs says and decision has to be made but they knew about the issue and still did not inform a buyer and think that that is call fraud. waiting to see what happens. I also received a car note payment, the maturity of my account 2023. I am floored. Besides all this I am going through a battle with cancer for the second time. Eight years ago it was in my colon and now it has went into my liver, it is said things come in three's what could possibly happen next.

They seemed so unconcerned at the dealership saying they could do nothing because its an engineer issue they knew and from my internet search they have known about this issue for years with the Rouge models all models. oh yea I was told that I should look at the lemon laws in my state, isn't that some bullshit. Nissan knew and sold it to me anyway and never said a word. I know that I should have some recourse in this matter. Lemon law they should be Nissan held accountable for their fraud practices.
