The aeb (automatic emergency braking) system on our 2017 Nissan Rogue malfunctioned, stopping our car on the roadway for no apparent reason. We did got it replaced by the dealer but it somehow is still malfunctions and is really frustrating that I have to turn this feature off to drive safe.

Rogue Sport SW 2.5L

When driving home from work from time to time, I often noticed a slight thumping noise in the rear of my car every time that I came to a stop. At first I thought it was my spare tire moving around in my car trunk. On 1/1/2019 hen my accident occurred I was going over an over ramp between 25 and 30 mph. A car jumped out in front of me out of nowhere. When I stepped on my brakes, my front seat unlocked on me and slid forward. My brakes locked up on me as well, along with the steering wheel. Leaving me to CRASH my new car into the rear of another car. My car was totaled and I am lucky to be alive to this day. The air bag in my car went off after a few seconds of the crash. If it wasn't for me raising my arm up in front of my face my head would have slammed in to the windshield. The 2017 Nissan Rouge Sport is looks nice but it is not safe at all.
