Rogue Select

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

So frustrated. The main reason I purchased the Nissan Rogue was the gas mileage. WRONG!!!!! Sheet on the window showed 25 in town and 32 out of town. I have taken it in twice for this. Sorry, but we cannot duplicate the issue. Your driving can be the issue, using your heated seats can cause the issue - WHAT???? Oooh, and the first time I inquired about it the service tech said - ooooh, cars never get what is posted on the window. So false advertising??? He said that is not based on Iowa driving. WHAT???? I call BS. They just avoid the question. I will never purchase another Nissan.

Rogue Select S 4 cyl

  • CVT transmission
  • 2,500 miles

I am getting 16 to 17 MPG at the pump. I calculate it each time I fill it up. The dealer told me my chrome wheels cause it. It was a dam lie as it is the same tires I had new and the wheels are alum. alloy. Each one is 7 pounds lighter then the stock steel that was on it. They checked for codes and none found. They said I dont drive enough and city driving is the cause. Mid-city Nissan is full of crap. I know others that drive city and get 19 to 21 MPG. They just keep blowing me off every oil change. next time I will be making sure I contact the manager before I leave and the MFG to get on their ass. I was told I would get 22 plus in city driving and it is all BS. The vehical runs great but the gas mileage sucks and they wont do anything about it but lie....

Rogue Select SL AWD 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,107 miles

After 15 years of great service and support with Jeep, I moved over to Nissan, due to one thing...they boasted the best gas mileage. The advertising, the spec sheets and the dealers all reported that the 2014 Nissan Rogue SL AWD would get combined 7.8 litres to 100 km. Well they were wrong.

I am now at 15,000 km. I drive the car 50% hwy. I am 65 yrs old. No accidents, and no tickets. I started off the lot at 9.4 litres to 100 km. At every new 1000 Km, the litres per 100KM went up by a tenth. I called Nissan. "No problem, we see this all the time. Be patient and by the 5000 kilometer mark you will see the gas mileage improve". So naturally that was false info. It was nice to see Nissan take off all mileage claims in all advertising for 2015???

I see where the Government of Canada sued Kia and Hyundai for false and exaggerated gas mileage claims. Is there no class action suit against Nissan. I would gladly take them to Small Claims court. I have been told I will win. But I have also been told Nissan will then take out their big guns, (lawyers), and sue me in Provincial court. I have been told I will lose there, and that the bill to me will be well over $40,000 I am sure I am not the only Rogue owner to be fleeced by these outlandish claims. I am presently using 31% more gas that I was told, than the advertising promised and that the spec sheet boasted. If anyone wants to do a class action suit, I am in. How in the world can big company like this get away with lies, deceit, and fraud, and get away with it???? Respectfully, I've been hosed!
