Bought this 2014 Nissan Rogue Select as a new vehicle from Nissan of Duarte less than 9 months ago. Started to smell bad odor in cabin about a month ago. Some mechanic friends recommended replacing cabin filter. Replaced cabin filter a few days ago even it had only a bit over 4,000 miles. That did not fix the problem. Took it back to Nissan of Duarte today. Dealer told me they will take care of the problem and charged me $40. Drove vehicle home with the bad smell. The odor is strong with or without turning on the A/C. Problem is never fixed. No new car should smell like sh*t in the cabin. But dealer said this problem is not covered by new car warranty. This sucks! Who wants to drive a car that the cabin smells like sh*t everyday? Can someone tell me what I need to do to get rid of the bad odor? And where the odor is from? Is this problem is common with Nissan cars? Will Nissan do the right thing to recall?
