The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the odor of fuel was present inside and outside the vehicle. Additionally, while operating the vehicle, the contact experienced burning eyes, headaches, and nausea due to the fuel odor. Medical treatment was not required. The vehicle was taken to local dealer who replaced the PVC hoses but the failure reoccurred. The contact also stated that the fuel odor was present in the engine oil. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 488.
