- Summary
- VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT RETRACTOR AND AIRBAG MODULE INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2021 Rogue vehicles produced at Kyushu prior to January 28, 2021, to update the front passenger (RH) side seat belt retractor assembly and airbag module, and reprogram the airbag diagnosis sensor unit. Vehicles with this update applied were tested by NHTSA in March 2021 and received an overall safety rating of 4 stars and a front passenger safety rating of 4 stars. This is not a safety recall as all Rogue vehicles meet all U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number P2A08 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâ??s inventory.
