My home caught fire March 24, originating at the car port where vehicle was parked. Neighbor witnessed bright white explosions taking place at the corner of the car port where vehicle was parked. My wife woke to the smoke alarm, and house was filled with toxic smoke. As I rose and investigated, I witnessed the interior side door to the car port ablaze above the door frame. As I tried to smack the flames with a pillow, visible through the glass door to the car port, the vehicle was an inferno. I raced back to my wife and screamed we have to get out of the house now. Just then, the smoke began billowing in from that side of the house. Video footage from a neighbor's cam is available and on local fire dept. Websites. Aston township, aston pa the fire was so swift and quick, it seemed to appear out of nowhere, extremely hot feeling on skin....updated 05/10/17. Updated 06/21/17. Updated 07/10/17 the contact has been informed that the vehicle fire was started by a brake fluid leak. Updated 9/28/18
