The electrical and body modules malfunction, the engine wouldn't shut off, tried to disconnect battery and it didn't work, finally after pulling the fuse for the fuel it shut off, but couldn't start the engine back on. Had to be tow to the garage and I was told the warranty only cover one of the two modules that were bad. The total bill $1200.

My 2016 Nissan Rogue stalled suddenly while my daughter was driving it at 25 mph. After 3 days of investigation it turns out the wiring harness had not been properly secured and the casing wore off from rubbing up against the car, causing a short that cause a failure of the electronic control module. Had this happened at high speed, she could have been killed.

I just bought this SUV 4 weeks ago and the A/C isn't working. I see a lot of other Nissan Rogues with the same problem. This is a safety issue since I live in nc and it is 96 outside. I thought I was going to pass out on the way home. Please help me get this issue resolved as I see multiple people have reported this same issue. And I can't shell out thousands of dollars for five years until it's paid off.

2016 Nissan Rogue car just stops dead on a busy interstate, and you call Nissan corporate and they act like they are ' completely unaware of all of the mechanical issues and dangers of this car. The vehicle was in motion on a busy interstate with children and a small dog in the car and it completely sh*ts down. No air conditioner, then you get a warning about the key fob being ' undeteteced'. you take it to Nissan and they refuse to acknowledge anything, they just start telling you you need breaks, and tires. But the real danger is that someone could get killed in this car !

Wiring harness in the driver's side door is shorted out and needs replaced. This is the exact same issue the generated a voluntary recall for 2008-2013 Nissan Rogues. The recall was R1421.

Bad ac/heater control. Known issue, Nissan service bulletin #ntb15-045E I live in mn, and just purchased a certified pre-owned Nissan Rogue. It is now winter and the heater has failed, and there are a lot of people with this issue for that year and model. My heater failing, and not able to defrost/defog my windshield means that I can't see, and even though Nissan knows about it, they have no made a recall on it.

The ipdm (intelligent power distribution module) was found inoperable. This resulted in the vehicle not being able to be started. The vehicle had been parked in the garage previous to the event and was unable to be moved from the garage under its own power following the event. No determination was made on what led to the ipdm being rendered inoperable.

For the last few weeks I've noticed my truck will have problems accelerating from a stop. It doesn't matter how hard I push on the pedal it just sits there then jumps into action. It makes driving in stop and go rush hour traffic horrible. You want to move with traffic not run into the back of another vehicle. And to top off the week the driver side window will not come back up after being rolled down. It takes at least a min or two before it starts to come up. But it doesn't roll all the way up with out you holding the button.

Without warning, the engine in my car intermittently shuts off while driving. This happens when the car is in motion. The car loses power to the steering wheel and breaks. Because the car is in motion when this occurs, I cannot put the car in park and restart it. I have to put it in neutral and turn the key to restart it. The problem seems to occur when driving the car for longer distances, although not on the highway. Use of the air conditioner or heat seem to make the issue worse. I have only had the check engine light flash once prior to this happening. The battery is still on, so the radio is still operational, as are all of the dashboard lights. I often don't know that the engine has shut off until I try to accelerate or break and am unable to do so. It is extremely unsafe. I have almost caused multiple accidents. I have taken the car to the Nissan dealership for a 5 point inspection and to have them drive the vehicle. I was turned away and they advised that they were unable to replicate the issue.

The control panel display looks to be out. It is very hard to read. It only dims or brightens but is not clear enough to read. This happened from one day to the next. The vehicle was not 2 years old yet and this should not have happened. This was not due to an accident it appears to be a manufacturing problem. The problem seems more likely, cause by a faulty electronic component

Front collision sensor goes off at random speeds while traveling forward with no one on the road ahead. The vehicle automatically applies the brake in some instances. The infotainment system also resets itself periodically. Prior service has had the entire body control module replaced, but electrical issues persist. Multiple dealers have not been able to recreate the problem even though issues are still present. Significant safety hazard by vehicle automatically applying brake randomly and Nissan still does nothing to resolve the issue. These instance happen on multiple occasions.

While driving vehicle it cut off and a got a message stating to check the chassis control system error. It was taken to dealer on Friday December 29, initially they said after running numerous test they couldn't find anything wrong so they gave me the keys and as soon as I drove off it did again, I immediately went back and they were able to see the message. They kept the vehicle and called me to inform me that they would be putting a new controller in the vehicle. On Tuesday Jan 2 I was told my car was ready, I picked it up drove home with no problem. On Jan 3 I drove to and from work with no problem. At approximately 700 as I was getting ready to go to church I turned the car on then all of sudden the lights started flashing and it wouldn't move or turn off, I also got the messsge again. My boyfriend disconnected the battery so that I would be able to turn the car off. Tomorrow Jan 4 I will be getting it towed back to the dealership.
