The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue The contact stated while driving 70 MPH on the highway, he started losing power, and the vehicle started to deaccelerate to 50 MPH. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact pulled over to check the vehicle. The contact restarted the vehicle and drove home. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The mileage was 107,000.

2015 Nissan Rogue. Consumer writes in regards to illuminated engine light. The consumer stated the engine light illuminated. The dealer stated the transmission failed and that it was a common occurence.

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal without warning. The contact had initially taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The contact continued to experience intermittent hesitation while driving at various speeds without warning. She then took the vehicle to another mechanic who informed her of a TSB on the vehicle for the transmission. The contact declined to have any repairs performed on the vehicle at that time. The contact stated that while driving at highway speeds, the check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel as the vehicle hesitated. The contact took the vehicle back to the mechanic who informed her that the transmission needed to be replaced. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
