Acceleration Issue:

Acceleration is not responsive in Nissan Rouge 2015. I just bought Nissan Rouge and found that this car has acceleration problem since day one. When ever we start the car and hit accelerator, car would not response and you feel the engine is overloaded all the time which will put us on the risk of having accident while driving in traffic. Even after the car is running on highway, it won't roll once you lift the foot from acceleration. it needs constant acceleration to keep the car rolling. it feels like the car has some breaking on tires which does not let the car roll on road while my other car does not have that issue at all. which bring the question about the engine, rotor and acceleration of car.

I went to see mechanic couple of times but they could not found any issue. Having done some research online i found my people are facing similar issue with Nissan.

My car has a history of losing power. It loses power while accelerating... first happened on 2/20/16. Took it to Team Nissan who kept car for one day and returned it to us stating they could not duplicate the problem and nothing showed on the computer system. Same problem happened again on 4/6/16 ... again took it to Nissan who kept car for one day and returned to us stating that they could not duplicate issue and no codes showed up. They told us to bring the car in immediately if it happens again...and to "drive it til it breaks".

This last time it happened on 5/30/17, I was on an on-ramp to the highway and the car lost power again...could not accelerate and (thank God) was able to pull over and let cars pass me. I finally got power again and continued on to the next off ramp to bring car to the dealership. I again lost power while changing lanes on my way there.

Team Nissan has now had my car x 1 month. The day after I brought it in, Drew called me and stated that the problem has not been duplicated yet, but they "do not feel comfortable" returning it to me ... that it is "unsafe". They have put over 700 miles on it and the issue "only happened" to them once, with nothing showing as far as any codes. This is a lease and I have asked Nissan Corp to let me out of this lease as I no longer feel safe in this car. Nissan Corp has refused to do this. I DO NOT FEEL THIS CAR IS SAFE. I do all highway driving. What does Nissan want....someone to die before they acknowledge this? I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau now. I AM FURIOUS AND VERY FRUSTRATED!!
