This is actually the second time this occurred in less than a year of ownership. The first time the engine kept revving while I was on the freeway out of town about 2 months ago, and then the car finally stalled out and was smoking from under the hood and leaking fluid. Thankfully I was able to pull off the road...but it was raining and I was in between the regular lane and the express lane on the highway. The car was towed and they stated that a hose came undone and it must not have been secured from the factory. The same revving is happening and I am afraid that the car will stall out on me again.
