The Nissan Rogue 2013-2016 have a bad transmission issue on the cvt driving on the highway my car got stuck in gear and would not drive my sister also own a rouge same year 2015 her car transmission got her stuck in the middle of a city street
2015 Nissan rouge A/C is not blowing cold air. Purchased the car 7 months ago (in winter time). Now that the weather is hot and I need the cool air it has not been working I took it in and found that the A/C O rings at evap were leaking and had it replaced and recharged. Still having issues with it. It will not blow cold air at 60 degrees and if the A/C button is not pushed and left on the air coming through has a foul smell to it.
Three times now the car has shut down entirely while driving in traffic. Engine stops running, all lights and power are off, power steering and power brakes are lost. It creates an incredibly dangerous scenario. Car will restart almost immediately but you have to roll to a stop with no power brakes or steering, as I said it's incredibly dangerous. Happens mid-drive, with car in motion, including an instance going 70 mph on a busy interstate. Has occurred three times over the last two months.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. While driving 45 mph, the vehicle was involved in a crash and the entire front driver's side was damaged. The contact was injured and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's home and then towed billy navarre Nissan (1700 siebarth dr, lake charles, la 70615, (337) 439-9955) where it was repaired three months later. Since the crash, the vehicle had been back to the dealer at least ten times. The tcm in the engine, an etrc sensor in the engine, the belt pulley, the transmission, the body control module, and the tpmf were replaced. All of the failures originated from the engine. The continuously variable transmission was replaced and recalibrated, there was a loose pin in the power relay box, and two sensors had to be changed, including the 02 sensor. In addition, the gears did not shift fluidly and the transbody sensor needed to be changed. The most recent failure was the vehicle sputtering and the transmission straining to change gears. By the time the contact pulled into her neighborhood, the vehicle had no acceleration and the check engine indicator illuminated. The contact planned to have the vehicle towed back to the dealer. The contact believed the vehicle was not in driving condition since the crash. The failure mileage was 49,000.
My mechanic discovered a leak in the rear main seal while performing regular service. I made an appt with Nissan to inspect it on 10/5/19. They told me it looked like a "build up of oil from when the car was manufactured and they cleaned it" my mechanic tells me that is probably not true because it was dripping when he discovered it. We will be watching it carefully, but there are a lot of Nissan autos having these leaks and also serious transmission trouble.

Driving on interstate at approx.70 mph, and cruise control kicked off by itself at least 3 times. Then all of a sudden I lost power, it was not like a out of gas loss, it just slowed down. I had the gas pedal floored to maintain speed as I was traveling at 70mph in heavy traffic on interstate. I moved to the outside lane to avoid any chance of an accident and took the next exit to turn around and go back home. When I got onto the entrance ramp back to the interstate, it took me about 1/2 mile at least to get up to speed again. Since I got back home everything appears normal but I am afraid to travel any distance in case I should loose power again I have had the vehicle put on the computer monitor and they say nothing is showing as wrong. During this exam I was told that if the engine warning light never came on the computer check would not show anything. At no time during the power outage did the engine warning light or any warning device show up.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. While driving 70 mph, the vehicle decelerated to 30 mph and the rpms increased into the red zone. In addition, the check engine indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the transmission was faulty and referred the contact to a local dealer. The contact called rock hill Nissan (550 galleria blvd, rock hill, SC 29730, (803) 818-2713) and informed them of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not covered under warranty. The manufacturer provided case number: 36292181 and did not assist. The failure mileage was 40,000.
Yesterday I came from birmingham and I was going 70 mph my SUV is whinnying I couldn't go pass 70 I floored it still nothing speed I had to spot on the side of the road to start driving to pick up speed I'm at 113,000
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. While driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning and was unable to be restarted. Once restarted, the vehicle was shifted into reverse and the vehicle stalled again. Additionally, while the vehicle was idling at traffic lights, the rpms would idle at a low rate with the vehicle almost at the point of stalling. The vehicle also hesitated when accelerating from a stop. The vehicle was towed to Nissan of stockton (located at 3077 E hammer ln, stockton, ca 95212, (209) 956-6500) to be diagnosed, but the mechanic was unable to retrieve a fault code or duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure occurred six times daily. The manufacturer was contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 27,000.
I am driving and I come to the red light and my temperature gage went to hot, it was not a safe place to stop so drove IT0.7 and called a tow...they said it was my radiator and I paid over 500 for that, less than a month later my check engine light came on by shults in olean so I took it in and they said it was the head gasket, take it to Nissan jamestown, so I had it towed, ,they said it was covered but today they said it isn't
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled and was able to restart. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to thoroughbred Nissan (5163 E 22nd St, tucson, AZ 85711, (520) 618-6500) where it was diagnosed that a software update was needed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 107,000. The VIN was unknown.
Traveling to Arizona over the mountain hill, all of a sudden car loss power. My RPM stays below 3 with gas pedal all the down the floor and my engine light turned on. Pulled over and sat 30 minutes. Was able to drive the car to the nearest shop and pulled the engine light code to P0744.
Vehicle sputters then stalls, chassis control light comes on. Vehicle will restart and immediately stall again. Extreme safety hazard as this occurs with no warning and for no apparent reason. This has happened on multiple occasions, today it happened on the freeeay in a snow storm and I was unable to get to the side of the road due to speeds. Replaced maf sensor with no luck. Seems to be a very common safety issue not being addressed by Nissan.
Bought car from win motors today; took to mechanic next door..said it was okay; when asked for receipt for testing mechanic said he did not do that. Car drove fine until I got home and when I moved from street into driveway, I heard grinding noise on brakes, but more importantly, when shifting gears a loud sound of straining; paid cash for used car. Really hope I can resolve with 2 day return.
Many complaints. First when car is stationary and engine first starts I hear loud banging or clattering noise. Seems worse when ac is on and goes away in a few mins. Also when at a light or stop sign looks like car is going to stall which can be very dangerous. Both issues started at the same time so may be related. Also antenna for radio nut working was told by mechanic msmufacturer issue. Read on line many peop, E expressing frustration either Nissan on same issues. Will go Toyota for next car.
I purchased a 2015 Nissan Rogue about a year ago and I had no problems up until a month ago. I experienced the transmission jerking, shaking and shuddering during normal operation. I would lose acceleration upon completing a stop signal or at the change of a green light. I also noticed fluids leaking. Upon taking it to the Nissan dealership, I was told it needed a cvt body replacement. Because Nissan extended their warranty on some of their vehicles with cvt transmissions, my vehicle qualified between the year/mileage given. However, Nissan chose not to fix it, that it was not one of the vehicles specified. Then why am I having these same issues as the other vehicles? my vehicle was purchase a little over a year and has 72K miles. I've never had any problems with this vehicle other than now with it's poor performance, shaking and no power acceleration. I fear for my life every day when I drive my vehicle. I should not have to feel this way but rather safe knowing I am driving a reliable, safe vehicle.
Respected officer, driver's side seat belt chime not working if seat belt is not latched - I am noticing happening for about 1 year. Engine is making lot of vibration and sound when idle - this is happening shortly soon after I bought this car 08/2015. There is a moving object detection system which sometimes work and sometimes does not work - I am noticing this for about the last 4 months. Below I put a date of 10/1/2015 reflecting the engine problem. Thanks
