The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the chrome covering on all four interior door handles had piled off and exposed extremely sharp edges which caused lacerations to the occupants while attempting to open the doors. The contact indicated that at least five different family members had been injured due to the failure. None of the injuries required medical treatment. The manufacturer and local dealer were both notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 50,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the four doors locking mechanism continued to lock and unlock independently. Also, the contact was unable to unlock the doors from inside the vehicle. The door would unlock while the transmission was in the PARK position and when turning the engine off the doors automatically unlocked. The doors were also unlocked using the key fob. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 67,360.
