Bought a brand NEW 2015 Rogue SV AWD car in October 2015. AC issues started the very first summer in 2016.
Took it to Edison Nissan dealer (WORST EVER DEALER), they said sensor issue will take few days to replace. Left the car and useless people called the same day saying it is repaired. Left the dealership and few weeks later AC does not work. Went back to the dealer and now a different representative looks at my car and comes up with another issue. Edison Nissan repairs it but had the worst experience with the dealer service department. Complained to Nissan Consumer affairs, but they are just another dealer level people but at a higher post. After spending 2 hours on the phone with them Nissan only offers $200 gift card for a brand new that cost about $25K and has issues the very first year.
AC works fine for 2 years and in 2019 AC problem again!! Blows hot air, blowers stop working.
After 2 days of reading different blogs (so many 2015 Rogue AC issues out there !!!) tried to check the fuses, but still does not work. Went to North Plainfield Nissan, they said AC hose has a leak (which I do not believe is true). Got it replaced for $530. AC works fine for now. I am sure the AC will stop working pretty soon, because it appears the issue is something else and not just the AC hose which has hardly 4 year of wear and tear.
I am going to call Nissan Consumer Affairs asking them to take away their CLUNKER. Piece of junk. Eagerly waiting to get rid of Nissan. NEVER EVERY BUYING NISSAN ANYMORE !!! I was better off being a TOYOTA car owner. still driving 2006 Toyota Corolla, 135K miles till date did not have to fill up AC GAS (Freon).
NEVER BUY NISSAN !
