2014 Nissan Rogue, electrical system, seat belt sign always on, doors locked when closed, never leave keys in car, you won't get in again. Horn goes off when you press unlock button. The door might not open and once you are in the car you might not get out, the door won't unlock.
Right after I bought this car, I would find it running, doors lock. This has happened several times. Now its losing power and jerking like its running out of gas yet I have a 1/2- full tank. Even tried high octane gas. When it starts to lose power, the back end starts to jerk or bounce. I have had the dash lights go out..it fried my phone when I plugged in to charge. This has been going on for a year. The dealership tells me there is nothing wrong with the car. I am afraid to drive it. They told me to either buy a new one or go rent a car. I can't even keep it in the garage for fear it will start in the middle of the night and we will have a carbon monoxide problem. Nissan has not helped, I won't sell it because I would feel awful if it killed someone.. So I am stuck with a car that Nissan says is fine. Yet the GM of the dealership said he would not let his wife drive it for a week.
