The cost to fix this is over $2,000.00!! I have to replace the entire seat. My car is 11 years old, but I bought it used and I am still paying on it!! I was going to trade it in, but now my car is worth even less!! Nissan has fixed other years with this same problem, why won't they fix my year?!
The passenger air bag light on for the 2010 Nissan Rogue. This has been a problem for several years and even had recalls on years before and after 2010 but would not fix this problem. I called Nissan to talk to them and all I got was the run around saying they don't have a problem with the 2010. I mentioned to them that you had a recall on 2007-2009 and again in 2012 and it was the same sensor in the seat that went bad. Well they insisted its not their problem but said to get it fixed and save the receipt and if there is a recall they will reimburse me. Yeah sure and I have some ocean property in Arizona....
Well I checked the price of this sensor and now I know why they don't want to fix this. $1500 a sensor.
