It is Marilyn once again. Fixed fuel pump and try to pump gas and was able to get some gas in the tank and check engine light came on. Previously, the low fuel gauge light would come but now it is the check engine light. I used my vehicle to travel for my job 67 miles away. Now, once again I have to take off work and try to determine what is going on with the check engine light. This bull sh*t is costing me money as well time off from work.
Does Nissan care about its customers??? I will never buy another even if they are giving them away free. This is my second Nissan and I have had enough. First, it was the transmission and now is the fuel sending unit. What is being done about this?? I complained last year and nothing was done....Trust me I will see justice for all of the stress when driving by always looking at your gas gauge. Nissan has money but I certainly don't and have to work to pay this lousy car off...
Update from May 24, 2016: Transmission failed again....I am sick of this car and I am still paying for this piece of junk. Back in August 2013, my transmission failed and Nissan was kind enough to fix the problem because it was covered under the warranty. It is now May 2016 and I am once again having transmission problems. Called Nissan Consumer Affairs and advised them that there is no way that a transmission fails in 2.9 years. I am presently awaiting a response from Nissan to see what they would be able to do for me. Although, my mileage is high my resentment comes once again with faulty transmission. The car dealer gave me a quote of $4000 and I informed them that there is no way I will be able to pay them for a job that they have done when the transmission was repaired. My argument is why is this happening once again if they claimed that they used Nissan parts. I informed them that I am taking my matter to the district attorney office in my state and that under no circumstance that I am going to pay for this repair. I really think that all of 2009 Nissan Rogue owners should filed a class action suit since there are so many other complaints regarding failed transmission problems. Like I say, I am waiting for a response from Nissan before I take this complaint to another level. I am not going to settle for a "No" response regarding this issue. I will update this complaint while i pursue my quest for justice.
Update from May 25, 2016: 5/25/16 - Received a call from Nissan Consumer Affair and was advised that since my car is over the warranty period they will not be repairing the transmission. Please keep in mind that the transmission was replace in 08/13 @ 83k and now 2 years later, another transmission is needed. Nissan is aware that there is an on-going problem with the CVT and they are not being held responsible. As a consumer, I feel that the establishment is continuing to sell a product that suit their financial needs and not of their customers. I am compiling a list of all of the complaints found on the various websites and will seek the assistance of the district attorney in my state, as well placing a complaint on the BBB. I will also be callinng MSNBC to investigate the matter on my behalf. I will update once I receive a resolution on this issue.
