Purchased the car used, I've had it for one year. Nissan and the dealer is acting as if it's my fault. I was on I-24 in a 70mph zone in the passing lane and off comes the bumper. God's grace and mercy that there were no critical injuries or loss of life. To repair it's $1200. Due to the warranty being expired, I am responsible. I've attempted to get Nissan or the dealer to cut the cost in half. I am being treated as if I done something wrong. Telling me I've been driving the vehicle for one year and now all of a sudden it falls off. I did not hit anyone nor has anyone hit me. If someone hit me, I would have a dent in the bumper and would explain why it would come off. All I keep hearing is how many bolts it takes to keep a bumper on. I advised had there been critical injury or loss of life, investigators would've been all over Nissan and the dealer inquiring about why the bumper came unatttached on side. Disappointed with Nissan and the dealer. No customer service. Only an apology that it happened but we are not liable, call your insurance provider or pay the fee.
