CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2012 Nissan Quest is great in terms of low complaints, but it also has an abysmal crash test rating for one very common type of impact.
The IIHS' "small overlap" crash test rates the vehicle's ability to protect front seat passengers when the car is impacted across 1/4th of the front bumper.
This mimics hitting a pole, or an off-center crash into another car — more common in the real world than a full frontal head-on crash.
See our crash test page for the detailed results — As you can see from the IIHS' crash test video, the Nissan Quest does not protect intrusion into the passenger space & major injury to the front seat passengers is likely.

Starting Feb. of this year my Quest 2012 would not start using push button. All alarm characters are showing on panel. Had to use booster to get car started and bought a battery for 160. After 2 months car did same thing, so I replaced batteries in keyless starters and nothing jumped started again. Took to Nissan they replaced on remote key and reprogrammed the other. Well 5 months later, pack my Quest and heading to airport and it won't start again. after trip went to Nissan again and they said nothing wrong with key remotes and checked the car battery and said that was not fully charged. So I went back to where I got the battery from in Feb. and he put car thru test and said nothing wrong with battery or alternator, so I am going on trip this week and hoping I don't get stuck in some remote area with a worthless remote.
