Transmission is slipping badly. Started small, now is to the point it slips every time it is driven.

Update from Sep 25, 2015: Had to get the transmission completely replaced! Cost - $3,500 because apparently rebuilt transmissions are not available. The kicker is that with the new transmission, Nissan only gives a 1 year warranty. Way to stand behind your product. I would expect a transmission to last longer than 1 year but I guess Nissan knows that's not the case. Doubt I would buy a Nissan ever again

I have a 2007 Nissan Quest. It first started with I put it in drive. It takes a few seconds, then falls hard. Then in July 2014 with 74000 + miles it started down shifting weird. A few months after that, slipping high rpm when I accelerate on the highway. This is the family car that now my wife is afraid to drive.

I called Nissan up they are useless waste of time. I shopped around for repair, but I just don't know if it's worth it spending that much on something that can happen again. Need help on how to make these corporate morons do the right thing and fix this. Control arms both side have been replaced around 45000 miles wheel hub and motor mounts. This car is a lemon. A family car should never have this many problems. Anyone have a fix for transmission, that wont cost me an arm or leg?

So we bought our van used last September. It was kinda driving weird after we first got it and didn't really think anything of it. Then we noticed that the warmer it is outside the less it jerks. It is such a pain in the ass. I took it to Nissan and got the transmission bushings replaced thinking that would solve the problem. Yea it helped, for about a day. That damn van still jerks when you stop. My son rides in this vehicle. We are not making the kind of money to have to replace a transmission right off the bat nor should we have to. I am going to need for Nissan to provide some better vehicles for those of us who are making them rich. Don't forget about the little people that are keeping your wallets fat and vacation spots nice. I can not afford to fix this by myself. Nissan you need to do something. This is your product. Fix this bullshit. I really like this vehicle because it is nice just without all of that jerking and sh*t. Please Please Please fix this problem.
