Took my 2007 Nissan Quest to dealership for factory recall on fuel gauge. I never had a false reading but figured I should get it repaired. Left the lot at before I got home a light came on"Service engine soon". Called the dealer back and they asked me to bring in back in so they could check it. I took it back and NOW they are saying it's my sending unit and I'm going to need to have a new one installed but it also requires a new fuel pump! The cost installed was $699.00. REALLY!! I take my car in thinking I'm doing the right thing, at not cost to me and now I'm going to have to pay all this money. Don't think it's just a coincidence that it happened right after the gauge was changed. Prior to that I never had any problems with the gauge or any reading. I am not happy with Nissan and think they should be replacing it all! Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for allowing me to vent!
