While driving down the local road, a loud vibration from the right power sliding door can be heard.. its very loud! it also made the gas pedal shake a little bit.. 2007 Nissan Quest S 86500 miles..drivers side window gets stuck while going up, also doors wont open all the time.
My 2007 Nissan Quest rear driver side sliding door is defective and not shutting properly. It is over traveling and hitting the B pillar metal on metal and now is rusting out. I do not feel it is safe and have brought it to two different Nissan dealers. They state the door is with in Nissan specifications but when I ask for the details of said specifications on the door they state there is not one. I have called 1800nissan1 and asked for a specification but they can not provide one either. I need the defective door corrected as this is a safety concern and I will not let my family ride in the vehicle until this is repaired or proven to be with in specification.
The contact's spouse owns a 2007 Nissan Quest. The contact stated that the automatic and manual sliding doors will not open or shut sometimes on cold days. When the doors do open, they will just stay propped open from the back. Once the vehicle warms up, the doors will open and shut properly. The vehicle was taken to a dealer approximately four times, but they could not duplicate the failure. The current mileage was 11,503 and failure mileage was 10,162.
