The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Quest. While the vehicle was parked, the front passenger side seat belt buckle failed to unlock when engaged, which prevented the occupant from exiting the vehicle. The driver was able to cut the seat belt webbing to release the front seat passenger. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
