This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Quest. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact drove over a pothole and the air bags were inadvertently deployed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was not available.
Air bag warning light came on for a few weeks and then went off, then on again. The code read that the air bags was not functioning and the passenger front air bag was shorted out.
Fuel gauge is not displaying as well as the odometer and temperature- previous owners have the same issue and current litigation had been placed for same model and same or different years.. air bag sensor on front seat passenger is not active but a small adult is on the seat. Similar recalls had been happening on this model but not expanding through many VIN#S brake- similar recalls had been happening on this model but not expanding through many VIN#S. an accident doesn't need to happen in order to recall those car that are suffering the same diagnosis on current/approved recalls. An action must be taken.
