We have had zero trouble out of our van until it hit 80,000. miles.. After that it has been one thing after another.. This one of many problems caused the Check engine light to come on repeatedly so everytime I would stop to have them run the test it would come back the converter and was told it was fine to drive it until it started to have a smell.. Well about 5,000 miles later the smell occurred and we took it in to be fixed.. The mechanic said that this model has 3 count em 3 converters and they had to remove the entire exhaust system to get to the one that was busted.. Anyway 640.00 later it doesn't smell like rotten eggs anymore but that was only the start of our problems...
