Nissan Quest 1999. Gas pedal is blocking and requires revere strength to be pushed. This happens several times during the day. Once the pedal is pushed hard the vehicle suddenly thrusts, causing possible damage to the engine and transmission. This also causes the vehicle to suddenly gain much speed and requires extra control by the driver. I am seeing many complaints on this website regarding the same issue (referd to as 'gas pedal sticking').
