Original incident 08/21/00 loss of power to accelerator, all idiot lights come on, high pitched hum. Dealer replaced O-2 sensor and ignition switch then in Feb. 2001 replaced a back press hose (check engine light had been coming on since repair in August
While driving could smell a strong smell of fuel that forced consumer to drive with window down. Had received a recall notice for fuel tank vent hose, but dealer will not take care of that recall unless consumer picked up the expenses. Consumer states recall repair was completed with no cost, however dealer stated that the problem was with the fuel injection and it was spraying gas onto the engine, consumer will have to pay for this repair.
