I purchased this vehicle brand new as a run out model, 0 mileage. I had owned it for 7 months, not a problem. Drove every day, with 8000kms clocked. Leaving work at 8.30pm at night, went to start, it would not turn over, dash advised system failure. I called the RACV, he attended, advised it was not my battery as I assumed. He was not sure, so he started to investigate by ruling out things. In the end he had taken off fuel line, reconnected and the car started. At this point he thought it may have been a blockage in the fuel line. Drove the car for another 2 days no problem. Then went to start my car for work, would not start, same reading on screen "System Failure". RACV were called again, he was baffled, he tried the battery again, advised it was not the battery, but could have something to do with the starter motor. He fiddled with it again and it eventually started.
I turned it off, went into my house to grab some things, came out to start car and it would not start again. I called RACV again, he came, same thing, fiddled a little and it started again. He advised I don't turn it off and drive straight to Nissan Traralgon and let them know of the problem as car under warranty. I took to Nissan they had the car over night. They advised me they had run all tests and there was nothing wrong with the car, except they believed I had not been driving it enough and it was the battery. They advised as they believed it was the battery the work they had done was not under warranty. All I can tell you is I lost my @#$@ and walked straight into Toyota next door, told them the story and told them to keep this piece of @#$# and purchased a brand new Toyota. There is a fault in the Nissan, so be very very careful if you are considering. My advice is don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
