After 1 year, I noticed chips of paint on the hood. After 2 and 3 years that was worse. I went to the Nissan Dealer who answer me that I must stop to drive in the tracks with gravel. I am just driving in town!!!
I had 2 Nissan before this Quashqai. None of them had so many chips after 4 years. I went to a body paint shop who mentioned me that the surface on the roof makes my paint look weird. It looks like it was a rework!
Paint quality of Nissan is TERRIBLE. Paint chips everywhere, major on hood, side panels, rear, doors, etc. everywhere on car. All I see is white spots on car, i forget its blue.....you would think i own a white Qashqai.
Anyways all this started after the first winter bought the car January 2018 but only started driving in May 2018 after I sold my other vehicle. Noticed some minor paint chips after first winter (2019) but now after winter 2020 its terrible. Car looks 10 years old...... NISSAN needs to upgrade their quality of paint for sure.
After complaining to service manager a few times, they finally took pictures and assessed vehicle etc. and Nissan agreed to pay half the repairs BUT I MUST add plastic protection AT MY COST immediately otherwise they will not pay repairs. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY AN ADMITTANCE OF WRONGDOING as they wont paint it unless I put plastic protection so OBVIOUSLY they know they are in THE WRONG.
NISSAN should pay for FULL REPAIRS AND PLASTIC PROTECTION for my vehicle. Obviously I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER NISSAN.
