Nissan agreed that the problem is with CVT gearbox failure- part number- 310203WX1B - automatic transmission has to be replaced.
A long and never ending wait continues for my car. Desperately I have to file a complaint to Nissan customer service on 15 sept 2014 after 2 months wait. Michael the case manager(Nissan) informed me after the investigation that the gear box has to come from Amsterdam and not japan. They have issue with the 3rd party who supplies the parts. So a time frame of when it can be supplied can't be given.
I have also asked the case manager about a replacement Quashqai as they could not give me a time frame and putting the customer in extreme difficulty without any clarity. He plainly denied that as an option.
well, I feel completely unsupported and terrible with whole this experience. I would not expect Nissan one of the global leaders in car making doing this to their customers.
This is just a 3 month old brand new car with automatic transmission failure. The customer is waiting for 2.5 months, without any clarity when it is going to be returned.
