No complaints. New to this site and just wanted to report the passing of the greatest vehicle ever made. Bought it new in 87. It died in South Carolina the other week doing 80mph. The bearing in the block responsible for transferring motion to distributor froze and consequently gear on inside of block was destroyed. Had I not been 230 miles from home I would of towed it, yanked the engine and rebuilt it. I ran the cheapest, crappiest oil you can buy but ditched it every 3,000-3,500 miles without fail. This truck NEVER EVER let me down once, and never left me stranded ONCE. For anyone interested I have complete documentation on this vehicles life cycle.
Just bought a new 2013 Corolla. Toyota is saying ditch the full synthetic engine oil every 10k miles. Anyone have anything to say about this?
