CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2017 was redesigned with new fascia and headlights, but what will be particularly interesting to watch will be the new, direct-injected V6 engine with CVT. Nissan's history with CVTs has been shaky at best.

My 2017 Pathfinder started making a load rattling noise that also caused vibrations under my feet when driving. I've been told it is the radiator fan and replacement is not covered by warranty and it will cost around $1,200 to fix. I have to get it fixed and I am currently looking for a repair shop that may be able to do so at a lesser cost then the dealership.
I've looked into it and it appears multiple owners have had this issue and had to pay out of pocket. Why is this not a recall? How do we get Nissan to recall pathfinders for this issue? It should be fixed by Nissan, not the owners who trusted them to sell a safe and reliable product.
I can honestly say this will be the last Nissan we will ever buy within our family. I understand cars needing repairs after 100,000 miles but at 41,000 we should not expect major issues.
Nissan needs to re-evaluate how they handle issues with their vehicles or they will loss potential clients in the coming years.
