CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2017 was redesigned with new fascia and headlights, but what will be particularly interesting to watch will be the new, direct-injected V6 engine with CVT. Nissan's history with CVTs has been shaky at best.

My Nissan Pathfinder was purchased in November 2016. Shortly after purchase, the navigation system was not working properly. When the gas mileage on the small panel was showing approximately 23.9 miles per gallon, the mileage on the large panel with the radio to the right of the steering wheel on the instrument panel with the radio is showing 99.9 miles per gallon. Also on the small panel to the left and directly in front of the steering wheel, that panel sometimes shows the radio stations instead of the gas mileage. The radio changes stations. When I turn the motor off and return to my car and turn it on, the radio is on a different station. At times the navigation panel will go blank.
This has been reported numerous times. I was told that the navigation had been changed at the dealership, but it is still doing the same thing. The engineer from Nissan has been down two (2) times to look at the vehicle, but nothing has been done to correct this. The last time I sent in a complaint, I was told that the engineers was trying to figure out what needs to be done, and they would get in touch with the dealership, but I have not heard anything from Nissan. The dealership has been wonderful in trying to help me, by calling and keeping me informed. I am paying my CAR NOTE consistently and on time every month, and I feel that some type of correction should be made, I am driving around in a defective car, but yet I am making my payments. This is a 2017 New Nissan Pathfinder.
