Happened when battery/electrical system failed and I looked in back for jumper cables. Would not latch all the way upon closing. Dash lit up with a warning light and beeping to let me know on the 30 minute driving home after someone came and jump started the car for me, and then again when we brought it to the dealer. Replacing the car battery did not fix it, they are now investigating it further.
