The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. While driving various speeds, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to hall Nissan Virginia beach (3757 bonney rd, Virginia beach, va 23452, (877) 430-1752) where it was diagnosed that the occupant classification system air bag sensor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to call NHTSA to file a complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
