The vehicle was stalling while accelerating and turning left. Which was exposing the side of the van to incoming traffic. The problem was discovered when we found the stop lights still on after parking the van at the dealer. This problem was known from other Nissan brands, they replaced the braking sensors in the console and this fixed the issue.
