This is totally ridiculous that I was told that it wasn't going to be covered under warranty. This is total BS because I see other Nissan Pathfinders with this same issue from 2005-2007. I have a 2012. How am I having the same issue they are and my truck is newer? Coggin Nissan in Jacksonville Florida "Richard" told me that if it was his car he would just put touch up paint on it. I said yeah, but I just spent $30,000 on this truck and if it's covered under the warranty why would I do that?
I am calling the local news to tell my story to all of Jacksonville how Nissan said they will not cover the defective paint. He even went as far as sending me to get an estimate but after he saw it was going to run $1800 I think they decided not to own up to poor production. It will be fixed by them one way or another by them.
