large tapping sound from the right side of dash area
Engine light was on, so took it to the dealer and was told to do a computer software update among other things that totaled $1800, so just did the update for $300. After one day, the car started making large tapping sound upon starting the car. Called them and they said it is not related and is totally something else.The sound lasts about 5-10 seconds and goes away. It is so loud thats very scary and annoying. anybody with insight please help. thanks!
