I have read today that Nissan neglected to tell their customers that there is the potential for cooling fluid to leak into the transmission and cause significant damage or failure. I understand that Nissan has offered to compensate owners who experience this problem but do not know exactly how to go about commencing this issue with the local Nissan dealer and if in fact there is any truth to this matter with regard to compensation. What do I do and what is going on with this issue and is there any official recall and official compensation to this problem? Thank you for your time and effort to rectify my Q&A.
