Have a 2006 Pathfinder and I was on my way to work and on the highway. About 20 miles into driving, the car jerked and then the check engine light VDC/Slip light came on.. The car proceeded like nothing else was wrong until I stopped at a traffic light off the exit ramp and then the car shut off.. After about 5 minutes it finally started back up and I made the 4 mile trip to work.. I shut the car off and tried to restart it and it wouldn't start so I went on into work and worked my 12 hour shift worried about my car not starting after work. But it did start and the check engine light stayed on but the VDC/Slip light was off so halfway, 10 miles into my trip home the car jerked and the VDC/Slip light came on again but this time after stopping the car didn't shut off.. Did the computer check and I need bank 1and 2 cat converter and basically the other code says to replace the thermostat.. I am a single dad of 2 kids and don't have a lot of money so I was wondering if there is a quick fix to this or should I be worried?
