I think the f*cking timing is off again. I just set the timing, crank it once, ran great. Then next time I crank it up, it runs like sh*t again. I can't keep throwing money into this damn truck.
Purchase my 2006 Pathfinder in Nov 2013 which then had 89,000 miles. 3 weeks ago we noticed stalling and shaking when on the freeway. Then on the highway the vehicle would rev high before accelerating. Called Nissan and was told that my ECM relay needed to be replaced. Got that taken cared of free of charge and today... my transmission died on the highway
I loose power when trying to accelerate, the car is changing down to early to try and accelerate because of the lack of torque . It is also making a loud rattling noise while trying to accelerate but looses this sound when it has reached the required speed. I do not know what is the problem i am thinking that it may be a lack of fuel because of the M.A.F. censer or a dirty fuel filter .
Due to the sudden onset of this catastrophic transmission malfunction caused by a known defect in the radiators that Nissan knowingly installed on these vehicles, my life and the lives of my two children were at risk. We were in heavy traffic when the car suddenly stalled causing cars to swerve around us and nearly rear-end us. These cars should have been recalled and fixed and Nissan's expense. This car has little over 100,000 miles on it and has had excellent maintenance on it. I inteneded to drive this vehicle for several more years (thousands more miles). I am now stuck with a car that should be worth $12,000 to $15,000 but instead has approximately $6,000 in repairs necessary for it to even drive. I have always driven Nissans in the past, but I will NEVER drive one again. I have several family members employed by Nissan. I have talked their ears off about this problem, but they say there is nothing that can be done even though this is causing them terrible bad press. I will make sure that everyone I come in contact with will hear my Nissan experience in hopes to prevent them from purchasing a Nissan vehicle and going through something similar. It is obvious that Nissan cares only about their bottom line...not the lives they have jeopardized with unsafe vehicles!
Problem came with no warning...car started to shudder during operation and the discolored transmission fluid detected. I have a call in to Nissan Consumer with a complaint
